What is this role?

We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a remote position that is open to candidates located anywhere. You will play a vital role in shaping our data infrastructure vision by designing and scaling the systems and datasets that our entire company relies on.

What will you do?

• You will select and implement cutting-edge technologies to collect and manage high-volume, complex data sets.
• You will own our modern data infrastructure, building highly efficient pipelines that integrate with streaming technologies and data warehouses.
• You will design and implement essential data management services, focusing on data trust, compliance, and scalable metadata management.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong logical mindset and a talent for solving complex problems. We value candidates who have experience managing large-scale data stores and processing high volumes of information. Specifically, we look for the following qualifications:

• At least two years of experience working with Python or Golang, or a strong willingness to learn these languages if you have a background in Java, Rust, or C/C++.
• Experience creating data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Cassandra, and Clickhouse.
• A background in profiling and optimizing production systems, as well as working with time-series data.
• Proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.

Because we value connection, you should be comfortable with occasional travel to meet with your colleagues for collaboration.

What's in it for you?

We offer a competitive base salary range of $115,000 to $165,000 USD.
