We are currently looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our team in either Dublin, Ireland, or Belgrade, Serbia.

What you bring

As a Lead Data Engineer in our full-time engineering group, you will play a vital role in maintaining our data infrastructure and ensuring our information remains accessible and high-quality. You will work with technologies like SQL, Python, Java, Scala, and AWS to drive our product forward. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing robust data solutions that focus on craftsmanship and long-term quality.
• Building and maintaining efficient data pipelines to support our core product and data warehouse.
• Collaborating with your team to deliver data-driven insights while mentoring new members and participating in our hiring process.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience in data engineering who is comfortable working with large-scale processing systems. You should have a strong grasp of data modeling, ETL processes, and warehousing, along with a solid working knowledge of AWS services. Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language like Python, Java, or Scala is essential. We value candidates who are curious, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills in English. You should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and demonstrate a commitment to taking ownership of your projects while keeping the customer experience at the center of your work.
