About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure that allows us to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a central data repository by integrating diverse sources, including databases like Postgresql and ClickHouse, various APIs, and manual financial reports.
- Design and support reliable data pipelines using modern open-source technologies such as Airbyte, dbt, and Airflow to facilitate self-service analytics.
- Ensure the highest standards of data integrity by focusing on the accuracy of business and user engagement metrics while creating meaningful visualizations to share insights with stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with data systems and tools.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex, maintainable SQL queries.
- Practical experience with Python and the components of the Modern Data Stack.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Fundamental project management skills to handle tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Location
This position is based on-site in Serbia.
