Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, though we require you to work during US business hours and prefer that you are based within a US time zone. You will be reporting directly to our VP of Engineering as you help us maintain and optimize the data pipelines that power our core products.

Your impact

• You will monitor, maintain, and scale the data pipelines that drive our subscriber metrics products.
• You will proactively identify and troubleshoot pipeline issues while building automated solutions to ensure high data quality.
• You will collaborate closely with our Data Scientists and Data Operations team to solve complex engineering challenges and integrate diverse data sources.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of professional experience in maintaining data pipelines and data products.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and YAML.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Terraform.
• A solid grasp of data modeling concepts and distributed data processing.
• Experience with web application development, specifically Django, is considered a significant plus.
• A self-starting mindset with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
