We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At Qohash, we are transforming how enterprises detect and protect sensitive information through our Qostodian platform. As a leader in Data Security Posture Management, we provide our clients with the insights necessary to reduce vulnerabilities and prevent breaches at scale. We need a collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is committed to building high-quality, secure data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient features while ensuring all code is well-tested and meets defined acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with our security team to integrate security best practices into every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initial concept to launch, while advising product owners on key technological decisions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in data warehousing and ETL development.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Apache Spark or Databricks.
- At least 2 years of experience focused on building, deploying, and optimizing data ingestion solutions.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Bonus points for experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and proficiency in both English and French.
