Role at a glance

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our expanding data team on a full-time basis. This role is based in the United States and operates in a hybrid capacity, giving you the flexibility to work remotely or collaborate with our team in our New York City office.

Your impact

• Design and maintain robust ETL pipelines that scale alongside our growing analytics and machine learning needs.
• Enhance our data infrastructure by optimizing storage solutions and improving query performance for massive datasets.
• Partner directly with our engineering and business departments to build data-driven solutions that support our core content and monetization strategies.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience managing data infrastructure and large-scale datasets.
• Deep proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and Python for automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and data warehousing tools such as BigQuery.
• Familiarity with data-generating frontends, specifically React.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
