Data Engineer at Pagaya Israel

Pagaya is a global technology company on a mission to reshape the financial services ecosystem. Since our founding in 2016, we have grown to a team of over 400 people across New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv. We are looking for a driven Data Engineer to join our team and help us build the next generation of our data infrastructure.

Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in Israel. You will be a key contributor to our Data Engineering Group, working alongside product, research, and BI teams to build scalable solutions that power our financial products.

Your impact

• Build and maintain robust data infrastructure, with a specific focus on developing self-service tools for the wider organization.
• Design and implement sophisticated data models using dbt and Snowflake.
• Proactively monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot our data pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and data quality.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong technical proficiency in Python.
• A deep understanding of modern data platform architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and driving innovation.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake is highly preferred.
