What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of our data analytics stack, ensuring that our internal stakeholders have reliable access to the information they need to drive the business forward. This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities include the following:

• Designing and maintaining robust data ingestion pipelines to support our analytics infrastructure.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and transform raw data into highly usable datasets.
• Establishing and refining internal standards for code maintainability, style, and best practices to ensure a high-scale data environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a technical expert who thrives in a collaborative environment. You should possess a deep understanding of data warehouse architecture, analytic databases, and dimension design concepts. We require proficiency with SQL transformations and experience building data models using dbt. You must be comfortable working with Git and the command line, and you should have prior experience with ELT tools. Strong, clear communication skills are essential, as you will frequently explain complex technical topics to non-technical partners. A background in engineering within the healthcare or marketplace sectors is highly valued.
