Flawless is transforming the film industry by developing a groundbreaking suite of generative AI tools that empower creators to push the boundaries of storytelling. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in the United States, where you will build the infrastructure that helps our machine learning researchers move from concept to production with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data annotation pipelines to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality data.
- Collaborate with ML teams to construct large-scale data transformation pipelines specifically for computer vision projects.
- Define and enforce robust data quality metrics to improve the diversity and accuracy of our datasets.
- Standardize our internal data management and exchange protocols.
- Assist with data sourcing, license management, and the implementation of our data governance strategy.
- Partner with our Platform team to optimize data storage, transportation, and accessibility.
Must-haves
- A strong analytical foundation, evidenced by a BSc or MSc in data engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Proven experience managing large-scale machine learning datasets and establishing quality benchmarks.
- Experience building infrastructure for data and ML teams, including CI/CD and data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with familiarity with infrastructure as code.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in an early-stage data environment where you helped scale and mature the function.
- Specific experience utilizing the AWS Data Stack.
- Expertise in handling large-scale data, particularly within the computer vision domain.
- Experience managing multi-stage transformation pipelines and training large models using extensive content libraries.
