Key outcomes
- Manage and optimize our data warehouse system, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability for our finance and accounting teams.
- Integrate diverse data sources into the warehouse and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure information is accurate and current.
- Support critical financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
- Identify and implement improvements to data collection, storage, and retrieval processes, including the development of new reports and optimized data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex financial requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Drive innovation by automating manual workflows to increase efficiency and reduce operational errors.
- Maintain strict data governance practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations and the security of sensitive information.
- Create impactful visualizations and paginated reports using Power BI.
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on Azure SQL administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and MS SQL.
- Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Warehouse environments.
- Strong technical expertise in data modeling for both RDBMS and data warehouse architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A performance-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $119,060 to $198,433. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer performance bonuses and equity compensation. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
