What you bring

We are hiring a Data Engineer II on a full-time basis to design, build, and maintain the scalable data infrastructure that supports both clinical and operational decisions. You will own reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, contribute to our data-warehouse architecture, and collaborate closely with analytics and business-intelligence teams so that trusted data reaches every part of the organization. This senior-level role is fully remote and can be performed from any location.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, Matillion, and AWS services.
• Implement data-quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to guarantee data integrity across all pipelines.
• Contribute to the design and upkeep of our data warehouse and data-lake solutions, including schema design and data modeling in Amazon Redshift.

Requirements

You bring at least three years of hands-on experience designing and deploying production data pipelines and data-warehouse solutions. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with practical experience using cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift and ETL/ELT tools like dbt or Matillion. Familiarity with relevant AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda) and a demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and the handling of protected health information are required. You are comfortable giving and receiving structured feedback through code reviews, translating complex technical concepts for varied audiences, and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. Working with healthcare data is a plus, and fluency in English is necessary.

What we offer

The expected annual salary range for this position is $110,000–$125,000.
