We are DoubleVerify, a prominent big data analytics firm listed on the NYSE. Every single day, we track and analyze tens of billions of advertisements for the world's largest brands. Our infrastructure operates at a massive scale, processing over 100 billion events daily and handling more than 1 million requests per second. We specialize in verifying that ads are free from fraud, appear in appropriate contexts, reach the correct audiences, and meet high standards for viewability and engagement. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer I to join our team in Israel on a full-time, hybrid basis. Responsibilities
- You will collaborate with our data and backend engineering teams to generate insights and recommendations that help major brands refine their digital advertising strategies.
- You will manage the processing of tens of billions of records daily, primarily using Python and Scala alongside tools like Spark, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Databricks, and GCP.
- You will design and maintain robust data pipelines that integrate various internal and external data sources, ensuring high standards through automated deployment, rigorous testing, and strong system observability.
Requirements
- You have at least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- You possess a minimum of 3 years of coding experience in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Scala.
- You have at least 3 years of experience working with relational databases and are highly proficient in SQL.
- You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience building ETL or ELT processes.
- You are comfortable maintaining business-critical production systems and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
- You have a passion for high-quality development and a sharp, problem-solving mindset.
