Massive Rocket is a rapidly growing agency specializing in Braze and Snowflake solutions. Over the past five years, we have successfully bridged the gap between digital marketing teams and engineering units. As we work toward our goal of reaching 100 million dollars in revenue, we remain dedicated to delivering high-quality, human-centric experiences through modern cloud, data, and AI technologies. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team as a contractor in a fully remote capacity.
Key outcomes
- Sync customer data across multiple platforms to ensure consistent, accurate information flow.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines that support seamless integration.
- Develop and manage Lambda functions to transform and enrich event data in real-time.
- Monitor data streams to identify and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to optimize engagement strategies within Braze.
- Leverage Snowflake data warehouses to improve the customer experience and personalization.
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and identify opportunities to improve client data stacks.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer or CDP Consultant role.
- 4 or more years of professional experience using Python.
- At least 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience managing event data and implementing Lambda functions.
- Familiarity with customer engagement platforms like Braze or similar CRM tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agency environment or directly with external clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Practical experience working within a Scrum framework.
