About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer, Business Intelligence to join our team on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will be instrumental in building the infrastructure that makes our data accessible, reliable, and efficient. You will work within our Data Platform team, which is responsible for everything from product event tracking to large-scale applied machine learning, ensuring that our data ecosystem supports the company's ambitious strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers, to develop new data pipelines and integrate diverse data sources.
- Design and maintain robust data models and analytics solutions that empower business users to access data directly for decision-making.
- Create and manage metrics, reports, and dashboards while ensuring the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Two to three years of experience in a business intelligence role, with a strong background in data warehousing and analytics technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and OLAP, along with programming experience in Python or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions and schema optimization.
- Expertise in data visualization using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Proven ability to develop cross-platform ETL processes and maintain systems for large-scale, complex datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
