We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Canada to help scale our content personalization platform. At Movable Ink, we use AI decisioning and data-activated content to help the world's most innovative brands simplify their workflows and boost their marketing agility.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to model ingested data into meaningful business objects.
Develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines.
Maintain clear documentation for data lineage and source-to-target mappings.
Design comprehensive data products that meet defined service level agreements.
Work alongside analysts to develop dashboards in Tableau.
Partner with software engineers to implement in-platform reporting features.
Assist in the administration and maintenance of our data platform.
Present your work during team sessions to showcase recent developments.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer within a SaaS environment.
Proficiency with cloud-based data warehouses, specifically AWS Redshift.
Strong background in data modeling using methodologies like Kimball or DataVault.
Expertise in building data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Experience orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow.
Proficiency with Git for version control and CI/CD practices.
Comfortable working with Linux shell commands.
Experience building pipelines from third-party SaaS APIs.
Proven ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
Strong communication skills in English.
