Role at a glance
We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer, Blockchain to join our Network Engineering team on a full-time basis. The role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere.
Your impact
- Build and maintain data ingestion adapters that connect The Graph to new blockchain networks and web3 protocols.
- Design strategies for pulling both historical and real-time chain data while handling block reorganizations and minimizing latency at the chain head.
- Integrate with decentralized storage systems such as IPFS and Arweave, then run rigorous quality checks to keep data accurate across multiple sources.
What you'll need
You bring strong experience with Rust focused on data transformation and ingestion, plus a solid grasp of blockchain data structures and real-time handling techniques like reorg management. Familiarity with clients such as Geth or Reth is helpful but not required. You thrive in a fully remote, fast-moving environment, stay proactive when collaborating with teammates, and approach every line of code with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. English fluency is essential.
