The opportunity

As an Analytics Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor within our Data Platform squad. This is a vital role where you will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights. You will work closely with our finance teams to ensure our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and capable of supporting our bank’s ambitious data strategy. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys greenfield projects and wants to take end-to-end ownership of data products within a supportive, cross-functional team.

A day in the life

• Transform raw data into meaningful insights by developing and maintaining sophisticated data models using DBT.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure our data is structured for high-performance analytics.
• Design and manage interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to help stakeholders make informed, data-backed decisions.

Who you are

We are looking for a seasoned professional who brings 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics. You are a broad thinker who understands the impact of technical decisions on the wider business, and you prefer simple, effective designs over unnecessary complexity. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, DBT, BigQuery, and Tableau.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across different functions and earn the trust of your colleagues.
• A deep commitment to mentorship and a desire to help your teammates grow their skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• The ability to stay organized and focused even when navigating fast-paced or chaotic environments.
