Data Capture & ETL Platform Senior Lead at CTC Lateral - External, Not Advertised

We are looking for a Data Capture & ETL Platform Senior Lead to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in the United States. CTC is a proprietary trading firm established in 1995 that focuses on managing risk and pricing assets. In this role, you will architect and manage the data platforms that empower our quantitative researchers to turn ideas into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines that handle everything from raw market capture to the normalization of data for research and strategy development.
• Create automation and robust tooling to enhance the visibility, traceability, and overall resiliency of our data infrastructure.
• Conduct ongoing performance analysis and tuning for our cloud platforms and pipeline components while collaborating with researchers, developers, and infrastructure teams to design effective data solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Five to seven years of professional experience in web-scale development and Python programming, specifically using pandas and numpy for time-series data.
• Proven ability to build and support large-scale ETL pipelines or tick data management systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and RDBMS, along with a solid understanding of computer architecture and system performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Experience with C/C++ development is considered a significant plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
