What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our Data Science and Engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position where you will take the lead in designing, executing, and maintaining our enterprise data architecture. You will be instrumental in supporting our advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data integration efforts, ensuring our systems remain scalable and robust as we continue to evolve.
What will you do?
- Design and implement a comprehensive enterprise data architecture that meets our current and future storage and processing requirements.
- Create and maintain physical, logical, and conceptual data models to support our data lakes, warehousing, and operational database needs.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective, actionable data solutions.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in data engineering or architecture. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and possesses the following qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
- Experience integrating business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- A solid understanding of healthcare data, including medical claims and coding systems like ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
