World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to creating lasting change for the most vulnerable. For approximately 75 years, we have tackled the world’s greatest challenges, including extreme poverty, violence, and mass displacement. By partnering with thousands of local churches and volunteers, we bring hope and transformation to refugee and immigrant families both in the United States and across more than 100 countries. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for justice and our calling to serve our neighbors to join our mission.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Data and Information Specialist to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is essential to ensuring that our data and documentation records remain accurate, consistent, and complete. You will play a critical part in supporting our Chicagoland operations by managing our internal systems and helping us maintain the integrity of the information we rely on to serve our communities.
Core responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy of our data records by identifying and correcting errors, updating missing fields, and performing regular quality checks on new case entries.
- Manage our Constituent Relational Management (CRM) software by identifying duplicate records and collaborating with program managers to ensure data cleanliness.
- Execute regular clean-up reports to verify that all required fields are populated correctly and process monthly interpreter invoices for payment.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong blend of technical proficiency and organizational capability. We require the following qualifications:
- A mature and personal Christian faith, with a commitment to our mission, vision, and values.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications, along with a high level of detail-oriented focus.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, as well as accurate typing abilities.
- Prior experience working with immigrants or asylum seekers is preferred, and familiarity with CRM systems is highly desirable.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' well-being. Perks include:
- 401k retirement savings plan with company matching.
- Flexible remote work arrangements.
- Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and 16 company holidays.
- Additional benefits such as parental leave, life insurance, and various employee discount programs.
How to apply
If you are a compassionate advocate for the marginalized and feel called to support our work through data management, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to be considered for this opportunity to help us continue our mission of bringing hope and healing to those who need it most.
