About this Role

Our Community Platform underlies some of the biggest fan knowledge bases in the world, including communities built around pop culture phenomena like Star Wars, Minecraft, Marvel Comics, and thousands of others. We are looking for data analytics interns eager to learn and contribute in a data-driven and insight-rich environment.
If you are passionate about leveraging data to enhance user experience and drive business decisions, this is the opportunity for you. You will be able to collaborate with a broad range of teams, including Product, Data Engineering, Marketing and Content, and gain hands-on experience in advanced data analysis, data visualization, and crafting actionable insights to influence strategic decisions.
You Will...
- Utilize SQL and advanced analytics platforms such as Amplitude to query, analyze, and interpret data to monitor performance, prove hypotheses, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects and strategic initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to help inform business decisions and improve user experience.
You Have...
- A problem-solving mindset
- Solid understanding of SQL for data querying
- Ability to communicate well in English (both written and verbal)
- A passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making
Bonus Points...
- You have some knowledge of Python
- You know a thing or two about statistics and hypothesis testing
- You are familiar with data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.) and/or data visualization tools (Tableau, Apache Superset, etc.).
- Are passionate about pop culture (gaming, movies, TV shows, anime, etc.)
