Data & Analytics Engineer at Rinsed

At Rinsed, we are transforming the 15 billion dollar car wash industry by providing the essential software tools needed to shift toward a subscription-based model. Our platform powers modern, fully-automated car wash tunnels, helping them manage their operations and grow recurring revenue. With backing from VMG Technology, Founder's Fund, and Bedrock Capital, we currently support over 3,000 locations and manage more than 8 million memberships. The role

We are seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will play a critical role in shaping our data architecture and ensuring that our customers and internal teams have the insights they need to succeed.

Core responsibilities

• Design and maintain the storage, architecture, and transformation capabilities of the data pipelines that drive our core product.
• Develop and manage both internal and external-facing dashboards that allow our customers to extract maximum value from their operational data.
• Collaborate across teams to model point-of-sale data, automate internal processes, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

Skills and experience

We are looking for an end-to-end engineer who takes ownership of the entire data stack. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and possess an entrepreneurial mindset. Key qualifications include:

• Proficiency in writing high-performance SQL to generate actionable business insights.
• Strong experience with data warehouses like Snowflake and modern business intelligence tools.
• Two to three years of experience in a data engineering, analytics, or data science role.
• Experience with data pipelines and transformation tools like dbt.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Python experience is considered a plus.

Compensation and benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 USD. In addition to competitive pay, you will be eligible for incentive stock options. We support our team with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
