The role
We are seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to join our tight-knit Product Engineering team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a high-ownership role where you will act as a subject matter expert, helping us innovate within the media space. You will work across our entire stack, ensuring that our data architecture remains robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with our product software.
Core responsibilities
- Model and serve high-quality data that powers our business operations at every level.
- Evolve our data architecture to meet changing business requirements while ensuring our data stack stays in lockstep with our product software.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, product management, and analytics teams to define and execute our first-party data strategy while telling compelling stories through our data.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in data modeling, pipeline development, and working with cloud data warehouses.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with a proven ability to write and optimize complex queries for large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language for building data applications.
- Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with tools like Fivetran, Airflow, and Kafka is highly valued.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000, depending on your experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
