Data Analytics Engineer at Supportninja

We are SupportNinja, a modern BPO founded in 2015 that helps fast-growing tech companies scale through expert customer service, lead generation, and community management. We are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our remote team and help us challenge the status quo by building robust data infrastructure and scalable pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from our primary sources into Google BigQuery.
• Design and transform data structures using SQL and DBT to ensure efficient aggregation and analytics.
• Maintain clear documentation for all data definitions and structures.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish standard operating procedures for data tracking.
• Develop metrics via the DBT semantic layer and create insightful visualizations using Python and Hex.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests to support team needs.
• Contribute to future projects, such as developing growth forecasting models or building data pipelines for vector databases.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in ETL processes, SQL, and data architecture.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Ability to work a night shift.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced experience with data visualization.
• Specific expertise using Plotly.
• Deep familiarity with DBT, particularly the DBT semantic layer.
