Ventricle Health is a rapidly growing virtual healthcare startup building a national network of cardiologists to provide specialty telemedicine for patients with cardiovascular conditions like heart failure and atrial fibrillation. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our remote team and help us improve patient outcomes by transforming clinical and claims data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage ETL processes to move data into our central repository while ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Analyze clinical and insurance claims data to identify trends, comorbidities, and healthcare service utilization patterns.
- Partner with our Growth Product Manager to turn data findings into effective member engagement strategies.
- Evaluate the performance of treatment protocols and validate operational hypotheses alongside cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain dashboards for client-facing reports and develop predictive models to forecast long-term value.
- Create performance summaries to track milestones and clinical results over time.
Must-haves
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with claims data taxonomies.
- Technical expertise with modern data stacks, including AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Experience creating visualizations using tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Familiarity with GitHub and notebook-based documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
