Data Analyst at Platform Science

What is this role?

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who enjoys acting as a bridge between technical data and business strategy. You will serve as the primary advocate for data-informed decision-making across our organization, helping our Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams turn raw information into clear, actionable insights.

What will you do?

• Utilize our modern data stack, including dbt, Snowflake, and Looker, to identify and interpret complex trends that drive critical business decisions.
• Partner closely with our product and engineering groups to define, build, and track key performance indicators for our various systems and applications.
• Apply your expertise in data mining, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to clean, transform, and present data that empowers the entire company.

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable taking vague requests and turning them into concise, high-impact deliverables. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring others. Your background should include the following:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with complex joins, sub-queries, CTEs, and analytical functions.
• A solid technical foundation in data modeling, cleansing, and validation.
• Fluency in English.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Python, dbt, or statistical packages.
