As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our mission of redefining aging in place.
Key outcomes
- Utilize SQL to perform deep analysis on clinical, financial, and operational data sourced from Epic’s Clarity data model.
- Provide clear answers to internal stakeholders by leveraging Epic reporting tools like Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench, and Radar.
- Design and maintain robust business intelligence dashboards and data pipelines using Power BI, SQL, and Git.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build ETL processes that ensure consistent KPI reporting and standardized business logic.
- Implement rigorous data quality testing, code reviews, and documentation standards to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Develop detailed clinical logic and code sets for patient cohorts, including tracking hospital admissions, readmissions, and emergency department visits.
- Create scalable reports for regulatory and audit requirements, including those mandated by CMS and Medicaid.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of direct experience working with the Epic Clarity data model.
- High proficiency in SQL coding, with familiarity in Git preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data ontologies, such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, HCC, NDC, and revenue codes.
- Proven ability to develop longitudinal patient analyses using complex clinical logic.
- Demonstrated expertise in building dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data insights for non-technical audiences.
- A track record of success working within cross-functional teams, particularly in value-based care or managed care environments.
- A deep commitment to data quality, documentation, and detail-oriented work.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Epic workflows and Cogito SQL.
- Experience working with modern data stacks, including Python, Databricks, or Airflow.
- Background in early-stage or rapidly scaling healthcare organizations.
- Specific experience with PACE, Medicare Advantage, or dual-eligible populations.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000, and the role is bonus-eligible. We determine final offers based on an individual's specific qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
