We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join an innovative, boutique consulting firm that specializes in health economics and outcomes research. You will play a key role in helping tier one pharmaceutical companies make informed decisions by analyzing complex healthcare data to support products throughout their life cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Work with data vendors and utilize electronic medical records and claims databases to drive project insights.
  • Perform statistical analyses on complex healthcare datasets to ensure accuracy and meet client goals.
  • Develop statistical code and participate in the auditing of results across various projects.
  • Translate intricate statistical concepts into clear, actionable reports and presentations for our clients.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement HEOR studies.

Must-haves

  • A Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of experience working in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical or HEOR industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical programming using SAS and R.
  • Proven experience working with claims and EMR databases.
  • A deep understanding of statistical methodologies as they apply to health economics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to solve problems with a creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to work within the EST time zone from a remote location in Canada.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with additional programming tools such as Python or Stata.
