Responsibilities
- Analyze historical performance data to identify trends across internal business units.
- Build statistical models that forecast outcomes and guide decision-making.
- Design, run, and interpret A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes.
- Investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and quantify business impact.
- Develop new data integrations, methodologies, governance standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
- Extract and combine data from structured and unstructured sources to create analysis-ready datasets.
- Build and maintain workflows that turn raw event data into usable dataframes.
- Partner with sales, product, consumer, data science, and data engineering teams to define analytics requirements.
- Document processes and contribute to the team’s shared knowledge base and case studies.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize large datasets with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and planning skills for working with multiple stakeholders and translating business needs into analytics requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Amplitude, ThoughtSpot, or Periscope.
- Experience working with database-oriented data structures.
- Understanding of product analytics practices.
- Knowledge of the retail or CPG industry.
