We are transforming the payments landscape by democratizing digital access and helping merchants foster genuine trust with their customers. With a network spanning over 20,000 merchants and serving millions of users across the country, we provide a comprehensive e-commerce solution that includes one-click checkouts, buyer protection, and pay-later options. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis to help us continue building a secure and intuitive payment experience.
Key outcomes
- Analyze complex datasets to identify potential risks and evaluate the outcomes of our data-driven decisions.
- Develop and implement machine learning and heuristic models to assess risk throughout the customer journey.
- Consolidate data from diverse sources to provide a holistic view of risks associated with customer transactions.
- Track internal and external data points to monitor risk levels, particularly during the launch of new product features.
- Research potential new customers to understand and mitigate risks associated with acquisition.
- Partner with our Fraud, Risk, and Underwriting teams to design effective analytical techniques for risk assessment.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and process documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and maintain robust systems for storing and gathering risk-related data for future analytical initiatives.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who possess a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and a passion for advanced analytical techniques. You should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics from a top-tier institution.
- One to five years of professional experience in a risk-focused role, such as fraud detection or underwriting.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python and SQL.
- Practical experience with machine learning models and their implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A flexible mindset, eager to learn new technologies and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
