What you bring

We are looking for a Junior Data Acquisition specialist to join our team on a contractor basis. In this role, you will be an integral part of our engineering efforts, focusing on the maintenance and development of our data systems. You will work on-site at our office located at 226 Bangbae-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collecting and refining external data through web crawling techniques.
• Building and improving our internal frameworks to optimize crawler performance.
• Managing and monitoring jobs on AWS services using our proprietary crawler management system to ensure stability and efficiency.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in Computer Science or equivalent technical knowledge. We require proficiency in JavaScript and a commitment to maintaining high code quality. We value candidates who are meticulous, responsible, and possess the persistence to grow rapidly with us. You should be comfortable explaining your implementation scope clearly before beginning a project and be ready to address technical debt with a logical, proactive mindset. Fluency in Korean is required for this position.

What we offer
