What you bring
As a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Manager based in the United Kingdom, you will play a vital role in maintaining our security posture. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will guide a team of analysts while supporting the design and implementation of new security solutions. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of Security Operations Analysts, including performance reviews and professional development.
- Directing incident response efforts, from planning and execution to post-incident analysis.
- Providing expert technical advice on information security and evaluating new security products to enhance our defenses.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a security-focused professional with a strong track record in people management and stakeholder engagement. You should possess deep expertise in Information Security, including SIEM, Incident Management, and Vulnerability Management. Proficiency with Microsoft Defender, PowerShell, and Python is essential, as is experience with IDS and firewalls. We value candidates who can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and who hold or are working toward relevant certifications like AZ-500, SC-200, or CompTIA Security+. A firm grasp of UK public sector compliance standards is highly advantageous.
