As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will join our team in the United States to lead our efforts in safeguarding our corporate systems, data, and infrastructure. Reporting directly to our Chief Information Officer, you will be instrumental in building a robust security framework that integrates seamlessly with our development and delivery processes. Your work will focus on critical areas such as Privileged Access Management, employee security awareness, and advanced endpoint protection, ensuring that security remains a top priority across the entire organization.
Key outcomes
- Design and manage comprehensive Privileged Access Management strategies, including the deployment of password vaulting and session monitoring to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Lead our internal security awareness initiatives by creating educational content, managing corporate newsletters, and conducting regular phishing simulations to test and improve employee vigilance.
- Oversee our vulnerability management platform, ensuring all company assets are monitored and that identified risks are prioritized and remediated in collaboration with our infrastructure team.
- Configure and maintain our XDR platform, specifically utilizing CrowdStrike technologies to monitor alerts, investigate security incidents, and coordinate effective threat responses.
- Contribute to the broader security architecture by evaluating new technologies and implementing network segmentation and data encryption measures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations and incident logs while providing regular performance reports to management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity and a proactive mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in designing and managing enterprise-level Privileged Access Management solutions.
- Hands-on technical expertise with XDR platforms, with specific proficiency in CrowdStrike Falcon, Falcon Endpoint Protection, and CrowdStrike Threat Graph.
- A deep understanding of modern attack vectors, cybersecurity principles, and the current threat landscape.
- Strong analytical skills, allowing you to troubleshoot complex security issues and communicate technical risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Previous experience working within a Security Operations Center (SOC) or an incident response team.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR and PCI DSS.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this full-time, on-site position is $150,000 to $165,000 USD.
