Cybersecurity Analyst at Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park is a landmark 300-acre sports and entertainment destination currently taking shape in Inglewood, California. As the largest urban mixed-use project under construction in the Western United States, our site features the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium, the YouTube Theater, and extensive office, retail, and residential space. We are currently looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis to help protect our expanding digital infrastructure.

Key outcomes

• Monitor network traffic and device behavior using machine learning to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Proactively analyze vulnerability scans and simulated attacks to strengthen our defense posture.
• Collaborate with the Head of Cybersecurity and IT departments to develop and execute incident response and recovery strategies.
• Conduct forensic investigations into security breaches and implement counteractive measures through advanced threat detection tools.
• Manage security data platforms to ensure accurate alerting and behavioral analytics.
• Maintain and improve security protocols, ensuring they align with our cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Design and deliver cybersecurity training programs to enhance organizational awareness.
• Provide expert guidance to users regarding secure internet practices and content filtering.
• Partner with various departments to embed robust security measures into ongoing projects and network architecture.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, real-time threat detection, and behavioral analytics.
• Proficiency in applying security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
• Strong technical understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications within cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, anomaly detection systems, event management platforms, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Expertise in encryption, zero-trust architectures, and the principle of least privilege.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data patterns.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate security initiatives effectively across diverse teams.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Professional certifications such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• A genuine interest in the sports and entertainment industry.
