Role at a glance

We are seeking a Cyber Security Lead to head our Trust Team. This is a full-time, lead-level position based in Sydney, Australia. You will operate in a hybrid capacity, working from our office two days a week. You will report directly to our CTO and oversee a talented team of eight professionals located in Sydney and Manila.

Your impact

• Lead and mentor: Take charge of our global IT and cybersecurity functions, managing and developing a high-performing team of eight professionals.
• Architect secure systems: Own our internal IT architecture and security posture, ensuring our systems are robust, compliant, and scalable as we expand into new global markets.
• Drive strategic alignment: Partner with key stakeholders to align our security and IT roadmaps with broader business objectives, balancing technical requirements with cost and operational efficiency.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT, InfoSec, or Cybersecurity, with a strong background in cloud-native technology stacks.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and operate teams effectively.
• A deep understanding of the requirements for a successful IT and security function, including knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• A high-ownership mindset and a passion for building systems that solve real-world problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
