The role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineering Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States. You will be instrumental in shaping our security posture, driving the vision for our infrastructure protection, and ensuring that our engineering and corporate environments remain resilient against emerging threats.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement robust security architectures for our cloud-native systems to ensure high levels of scalability and efficiency.
• Provide expert technical guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams regarding security best practices and the evolving threat landscape.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and integrate security controls directly into our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in security engineering and a passion for leading high-performing teams. We are looking for candidates who have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related discipline.
• Extensive professional experience in security engineering within cloud-native environments, including prior experience managing security teams.
• Hands-on expertise with tools and technologies such as GCP, GKE, Prisma Cloud, Cloudflare, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
• A deep understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations like NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.

Compensation and benefits

The target base salary for this position is $150,000 to $192,000. In addition to your base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success. Our benefits include:
