Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Customer Experience Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in the United States, designed for a seasoned professional who thrives in a hands-on, individual contributor capacity. You will be instrumental in scaling our platform and ensuring our users have a world-class experience as they leverage our advanced analytics tools.
Your impact
- Technical Support: You will act as the primary point of contact for triaging and resolving complex technical issues, working directly within customer environments and collaborating with our internal engineering teams.
- Customer Enablement: You will guide our users through the onboarding process, providing hands-on training, creating educational assets, and hosting sessions to help them get the most out of the Tellius platform.
- Driving Success: You will partner with customers to develop high-impact use cases and foster long-term adoption, while acting as the voice of the customer to help our product and development teams prioritize future features.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of deep experience in the business intelligence and data analytics space. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical fundamentals with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in SQL and Data Modeling, along with working knowledge of Python, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Data Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery, as well as familiarity with Spark.
- BI Expertise: You must have professional experience with at least one major BI tool, such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Thoughtspot, Sigma Computing, SiSense, Looker, Alteryx, Dataiku, DataRobot, Trifacta, Alation, Incorta, Zoomdata, OBIEE, Birst, GoodData, Cognos, or Business Objects.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
- Mindset: A collaborative spirit and the flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a growing startup.
