The role
We are seeking a Senior Customer Experience Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role designed for a technical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as a vital link between our customers and our internal product teams, ensuring that our users receive the highest level of support while helping us shape the future of our analytics platform. We require expertise in at least one industry-standard tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Thoughtspot, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Core responsibilities
- Technical Support: Triage complex technical issues, debug customer environments, and collaborate with our engineering teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Customer Enablement: Guide users through the onboarding process by creating helpful resources, tutorials, and conducting interactive sessions to ensure they get the most out of our platform.
- Platform Success: Partner with customers to develop specific use cases and drive long-term adoption of the Tellius platform within their organizations.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science and data analytics. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or database management.
- Deep proficiency in SQL and Data Modeling.
- Working knowledge of Python, HTML, JavaScript, and Spark.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery, as well as cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- A proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and build repeatable processes for issue resolution.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for various stakeholders.
- A background in AI, predictive analytics, or machine learning is considered a significant advantage.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a competitive salary range of 100,000 USD to 140,000 USD, depending on your specific skills, experience, and location. Our benefits package includes:
