About the Role
We are hiring a Customer Business Manager, Mass Channel on a full-time basis. In this senior-level position you will manage our ambient Kid Snacking business at Target and Walmart, partnering with National Account Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver sales targets, execute product launches, and strengthen retail performance across the Mass channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive gross and net sales by executing strategic priorities, supporting new product launches, and identifying distribution and merchandising opportunities that expand our presence at key Mass retailers.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Brand and Shopper Marketing, Operations, and Business Development to align on forecasts, promotional calendars, and innovation pipeline plans.
- Analyze syndicated and retailer POS data, develop insight-driven category stories, and provide regular performance reporting that informs decision-making and improves velocity, share, and profitability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of retail sales experience, including at least 5 years directly supporting the Mass channel at Target and/or Walmart, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets through cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, along with strong planning, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Deep expertise in data analysis, category management, trade budget optimization, and digital go-to-market strategies, plus solid working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and AI tools.
- Ecommerce experience strongly preferred, along with the ability to manage digital content for retailer websites and a genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition.
- Up to 10% travel for occasional in-person meetings, and you must reside in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
This is a remote-first position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those based in Minneapolis, MN or Bentonville, AR.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00. Additional forms of compensation may include an annual bonus and equity. We also offer a 401(k) program with a 4% company match after three months, unlimited paid time off, paid volunteer time, and paid time off for jury duty and voting. Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance is available, with select medical plans covering 100% of employee premiums and vision and dental fully covered for employees and dependents.
