The role

We are looking for a Senior Curriculum Content Developer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a vital position for someone who is passionate about education and technology. You will play a key role in designing and refining the high-quality content that teachers rely on to bring computer science into their classrooms. We are seeking an experienced professional who can translate complex concepts into engaging, student-centered learning experiences that make a tangible impact on a global scale.

Core responsibilities

• Content development: Design and build comprehensive computer science curriculum for grades 6-12, utilizing a backward design approach to create everything from individual lessons to multi-week progressions.
• Data-driven iteration: Analyze student engagement and learning metrics to continuously refine your curriculum, ensuring that the materials are effective and meet our high standards for student success.
• Culturally responsive design: Apply research-based best practices to create lessons that are inclusive and approachable, specifically focusing on supporting young women and students from groups historically underrepresented in computer science.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in computer science education and a dedication to our mission. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in computer science education, including recent time spent teaching in a classroom.
• Fluency in reading and writing code in one or more text-based languages, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• A solid understanding of computer science concepts relevant to middle and high school standards.
• Experience with AI and machine learning concepts, with a preference for those who have developed curriculum in these areas.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is $88,200 to $92,000. We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our full-time team members, including:
