The role

We are looking for a Senior Cryptocurrency Infrastructure Engineer to join our fully remote, distributed team on a full-time basis. You will be instrumental in designing and maintaining the systems that power our participation in various blockchain networks. This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer who thrives in an environment where they can take ownership of complex projects while collaborating with some of the most talented minds in the cryptocurrency space.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end launch of new cryptocurrency networks by creating secure templates, repeatable patterns, and robust automation processes.
• Design and implement advanced security tools and infrastructure improvements to ensure the safety of our network participation.
• Develop innovative technical solutions to address emerging challenges in the industry and identify new opportunities as protocols evolve.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have 5 to 7 years of experience in engineering and operating highly available, public-facing infrastructure. You should possess a detailed understanding of public cloud environments, specifically GCP and AWS, along with a proven ability to codify, automate, and scale services. A working knowledge of cryptocurrency infrastructure and proof-of-stake mechanisms is essential. We primarily work with Golang, TypeScript, and Rust, and we utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Containers, Prometheus, and Grafana to manage our systems.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $200,000 USD. In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation in the form of a bonus.
