The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and help us build the next generation of financial services. In this role, you will focus on our payments platform, which is the engine that powers all transactions at Coinbase. You will be responsible for understanding the diverse needs of our retail and institutional customers as we bridge the gap between traditional finance and crypto technology. We need someone who can navigate ambiguity, align cross-functional teams, and drive product development from the initial idea to a successful launch.

A day in the life

• You will own a specific product area, taking full responsibility for its execution from conception through to final launch.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to translate user pain points and feedback into a long-term strategic roadmap.
• You will align your team on a shared vision, ensuring that we effectively balance and prioritize the needs of our users while steering the project toward completion.

Who you are

You are a goal-oriented, self-motivated professional with a proven track record in product management. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the technical aptitude to ramp up quickly on complex domains. Your background should include:

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, including 1 year of taking products from conception to launch.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and finance teams.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, experiment design, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A deep passion for cryptocurrency and financial markets, with bonus points for experience in crypto-native projects like DeFi, NFTs, or dApps.
• Fluency in English.
