The Job Details

Working as a Cross Platform UI Lead (Frontend + Flutter) within a technical team producing innovative fulfillment solutions you will take the responsibility for the productivity of the team and the quality of their work. You will have a good balance between technical and people skills and be able to coordinate the team’s activities across the different stages of the software development lifecycle: understanding business requirements; frontend development; code review; unit testing; deploying changes to customer environments; engaging with stakeholders. You will provide leadership and direction for the team, supporting other developers with a focus on staff development.

What You’ll Do:

• Implement agile strategies
• Source code management and bug tracking software, especially Jira.
• Feature Branching with JIRA.
• Work with multiple branches to be able to publish different environments with modern CI/CD pipelines like Azure Devops, Gitlab etc.
• Architect and define the frontend framework to solve complex designs and interactions that reflect the creative and art direction provide
• Create of all coded Front-end deliverables
• Mentor and guide technical team members in all project activities on multiple small to medium sized projects or one large project
• Be able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project
• Participate in developing supporting proposal materials for projects
• Participate in scoping and planning work
• Lead and manage a large team of frontend developers and flutter developers
• Be a thought leader in the frontend technologies and space.
• Lead the recruitment process of new frontend and flutter developers

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields
• Proven experience leading frontend/UI teams, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong hands-on development skills in:
• Web: Angular TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, SCSS
• Mobile: Flutter 
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Proficiency in consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Solid knowledge of GitLab workflows, including CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with component libraries, design systems, and code reuse strategies
• Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to work closely with Staff Engineering for architecture alignment, Backend teams for API integration and DevOps & SecOps for secure, reliable deployments
• Knowledge and experience about client-side performance issues
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
• Experience with Git etc. version control systems
• Experience in tracking team OKRs, aligning work with business goals, and mentoring team members
• Willingness to be hands-on when needed, including code reviews, debugging, and prototyping
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience with SignalR or any other socket programming is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with hybrid mobile application development and Cordova& plugins is a plus

Location & Working Model

We are working on a full remote model. We have a physical office in İstanbul(Ataşehir Nidakule Kolektif House) where team members can get together and work collaboratively on a volunteer basis.
