The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Credit Recovery Law Enforcement Specialist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Nigeria. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies when we encounter cases of fraud or criminal activity during the loan recovery process. You will play a vital part in mitigating financial risk, ensuring we remain compliant with all regulatory standards, and recovering delinquent loans. This position is perfect for a professional who understands the intersection of finance and law and who already possesses a robust network of contacts within the law enforcement community.

A day in the life

• You will engage directly with law enforcement agencies across the country to resolve fraud cases and facilitate the recovery of delinquent loans.
• You will partner with our internal legal teams and external firms to execute effective litigation strategies for non-performing loans.
• You will develop and implement new operational strategies for managing fraud incidents while maintaining detailed records of all enforcement actions for management review.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in law, fraud management, or law enforcement. You possess a deep understanding of Nigerian debt recovery laws, and you are comfortable navigating complex financial regulations. You hold a bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field. Most importantly, you have established relationships with law enforcement agencies nationwide and a reputation for maintaining the highest ethical standards when handling sensitive legal matters. You are fluent in English and excel at negotiation and litigation strategy.
