Kustomer is the industry-leading conversational CRM platform that helps businesses deliver personalized, meaningful customer experiences. By unifying data across multiple channels and utilizing intelligent tools like AI and automation, we help brands like Sweetgreen, Vuori, and Resy operate with greater efficiency. Originally founded in 2015, we have grown into a standalone company backed by significant venture funding, and we are currently seeking a Creative Director to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. We are looking for a visionary leader who can tell our story through compelling design and help us scale our AI-native platform as we enter our next chapter of growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain our visual identity across all touchpoints, including digital, print, and in-product experiences.
- Develop and manage scalable design systems that ensure consistent, high-quality brand expression across all marketing campaigns.
- Operate as a player-coach who manages a small in-house team while personally producing high-level design work for web, social, print, and internal collateral.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in creative direction, with a strong foundation in art direction and design.
- At least 3 years of experience leading brand initiatives within an in-house team, specifically within B2C or Enterprise SaaS environments.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Slides.
- A deep curiosity for AI-assisted design tools and a proven ability to integrate them into the creative process.
- Strong business acumen with a history of scaling creative processes in fast-moving, startup environments.
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design craft, systems thinking, and leadership capabilities.
