CPQ Developer at Carta

We are looking for a Senior CPQ Developer to join our Business Systems team in a full-time, remote capacity to help us maintain and scale our internal systems.

Key outcomes

• Configure and maintain Zuora CPQ and Salesforce Sales Cloud to support business requirements, including critical integrations.
• Design, test, and deploy robust technical solutions within our Salesforce and Zuora environments.
• Ensure data integrity and system scalability through proactive maintenance and high-quality coding practices.
• Deliver high-performance Apex code, manage test classes, and optimize Salesforce processes.
• Execute large data conversions and integrate various SaaS technologies with our Salesforce platform.
• Manage technical debt to prevent future operational issues and resolve defects in existing solutions.
• Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive development projects and conduct root cause analyses when technical challenges arise.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, including flows, approvals, and process builders.
• Proven ability to create Lightning Apps using the Lightning Design System, App Builder, and Web Components.
• Deep technical proficiency in Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers, Classes, Callouts, SOQL, and Platform events.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and implementing Quote to Cash workflows.
• Substantial experience in the full-cycle delivery of CPQ implementations.
• Proficiency in using CI/CD tools for application builds and deployments.
• Strong background in working within Agile development environments.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct experience working with billing systems.
• Specific experience with Copado for CI/CD processes.

Compensation

We offer a competitive market salary, equity for all full-time roles, and exceptional benefits. Our cash compensation ranges are as follows:

• $144,500 - $170,000 for candidates based in San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA; or New York, NY.
• $130,050 - $153,000 for candidates based in Seattle, WA.

Final offers are determined based on geography, individual experience, and expertise. All employees enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
