As an experienced product R&D executive who has a passion for leading teams that drive quality and productivity into world-class applications and services, you will lead a critical R&D center of talented and driven group of software engineers and managers. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, your responsibilities will span oversight of technologists across a wide range of skills (cloud developers, application developers, web developers, UI engineers, qa automation and qa engineers, systems engineers, quality and regulatory specialists, security and IT professionals) and management talent (engineering leads to vice presidents).

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with CTO to understand needs and provide solutions, including evangelizing and directing technology and process change across the center and company.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the India business, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Recruit and retain the very best talent for all required positions consistent with agreed upon job descriptions and requirements.
• Implement and improve program and resource management processes to measure, optimize, and drive critical management decisions.
• Implement and ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks and processes related to development of software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD).
• Ensure that the India office models Company's mission, vision, and values in all activities and interactions.
• Mentor and develop managers and senior-level individual contributors.
• Guide technical architecture and decision making for the platforms, tools, and services provided by the Engineering team.
• Execute the operational and organizational strategy for the India team based on KPIs, and drive the tracking, course-correction, and achievement of these KPIs.
• Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the C-Suite to provide finance, HR, privacy, IT, and legal resources and services for both regional and global company needs.

Role Qualifications: Required education: bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of software engineering experience of high-scale consumer-facing or enterprise products in a rapid-release cycle environment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise leading products using modern technology stack, including AWS, node.JS, iOS, Android, angular/react, git, Jira/Confluence.
• Experience in medical or pharmaceutical product development working under design control processes
• History of leading high performing teams with multiple levels of leadership within their organization(s)
• Experience leading development and testing of applications and services across all major platforms, including clients, SDKs/services/APIs, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated strong leadership experience, ability to drive results with urgency, and collaborative influence using strong written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience defining and tracking metrics aligned to KPI's and benchmarks to drive process improvement.
• Demonstrated professional success growing a team, mentoring engineers.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and managing multiple simultaneous high-visibility projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including problem solving, decision making, written and oral communications, and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to seek out, build, foster, and maintain productive relationships and networks.
