Country Head at Biofourmis

You will lead Biofourmis’ India engineering center, guiding a talented group of software engineers and managers who build AI-driven platforms that bring hospital-level care directly to patients wherever they live. As part of a global company headquartered in Boston with key offices in Singapore and India, you will help shape technologies trusted by leading health systems, payers, and biopharma companies to improve outcomes, reduce readmissions, and accelerate clinical development.

What you'll be doing

• Partner closely with the Chief Technology Officer to identify needs, introduce technology and process improvements, and ensure the India center consistently follows industry best practices while modeling the company’s mission and values.
• Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of top engineering talent across cloud, application, web, UI, QA, systems, regulatory, security, and IT roles, while mentoring managers and senior individual contributors.
• Guide technical architecture decisions, implement program and resource management processes, ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks for software-as-a-medical-device, and track KPIs to execute the operational strategy for the India team.

What you'll bring

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, along with at least 15 years of software engineering experience on high-scale consumer or enterprise products in rapid-release environments and a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership.
• Proven expertise leading teams that build and test applications and services across clients, SDKs, APIs, middleware, and enterprise platforms using modern stacks that include AWS, Node.js, iOS, Android, Angular or React, Git, and Jira or Confluence.
• Experience developing medical or pharmaceutical products under design-control processes, a track record of growing and mentoring high-performing teams with multiple layers of leadership, and the ability to define and track metrics that drive continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership presence, collaborative influence, and excellent written and presentation skills, plus the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple high-visibility projects and building productive relationships across diverse groups.
• Fluency in English.
