The role

We are searching for a Senior Cosmos Blockchain Developer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining the integrations that connect our platform to the broader blockchain landscape.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of maintaining and improving our integration with the Cosmos Interchain Stack, including the Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, and IBC-go.
• Lead our strategic efforts to integrate with Ethereum and other non-Cosmos blockchain ecosystems.
• Collaborate with external teams and partners to drive technical advancements in protocols like IBC and GMP while assisting our customers and validators in successfully applying Agoric technology to their specific business needs.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for open-source development. We look for the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in software development.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Golang.
• At least 1 year of direct experience working with the Cosmos Interchain Stack.
• A proven track record of contributing to open-source projects.
• Bonus points if you have experience with JavaScript products or a deep interest in decentralized markets, smart contracts, and the competitive blockchain landscape.
