The role
We are looking for a Corporate Network Engineer to join our team in Porto on a full-time basis. This mid-level position is a hybrid role, offering you the chance to work on both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a key role in our corporate IT department, focusing on delivering high-quality networking solutions that improve the daily experience for our employees while utilizing modern technologies to drive efficiency.
Core responsibilities
- Design, install, and manage our core network infrastructure, including L2 switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Develop and maintain a scalable, secure network environment while using Infrastructure as Code to automate and streamline our processes.
- Provide support for our public cloud configurations in Azure and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills and experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and Azure networking.
- Proficiency in programming, scripting, and computing architecture.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on enhancing corporate office and employee experiences.
- Relevant certifications like CCNA, JNCIA, AZ900, or NSE are considered a plus.
