The opportunity

We are looking for a Core Engineering Services Team Lead to guide our efforts in building the foundational systems that power our trading operations. In this role, you will be the bridge between our business goals and our technical execution, ensuring that our infrastructure for exchange connectivity, PnL calculations, and token transfers remains robust and efficient. You will have the opportunity to shape the architecture of our high-performance systems while mentoring a talented group of developers to reach their full potential.

A day in the life

• You will mentor and lead a dedicated team of developers, setting the strategic direction for our core applications and ensuring that business priorities are translated into successful technical outcomes.
• You will design and implement high-performance trading applications, carefully balancing the need for rapid delivery with the requirement for feature-rich, scalable solutions.
• You will work closely with our trading teams to understand their specific connectivity needs and troubleshoot complex issues in our high-speed, demanding environment.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader with a strong background in software development, ideally within a high-frequency trading environment. You have a deep understanding of complex backend systems, microservices, and database interactions, and you are comfortable managing systems that handle massive amounts of data. You possess strong proficiency in C++ and Python, and you have a solid grasp of exchange APIs, websockets, and low-latency protocols. Because we operate as a global, distributed team, you are comfortable working effectively in a remote setting and possess the communication skills necessary to lead and inspire others.
